We are thrilled to welcome Rabbi Yehoram Ulman as our scholar-in-residence.
Rabbi Ulman, is a Senior Dayan on the Sydney Beth Din. He has travelled extensively both researching the latest medical breakthroughs and consulting with other Rabbinic Authorities on their effect in terms of Halacha.
Rabbi Ulman was born in the former USSR and was educated in Moriah College Sydney and the Yeshiva Gedolah in Melbourne. He continued his studies in the USA receiving smicha from the Central Lubavitcher Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim. Rabbi Ulman received Yoden Yoden from world renowned poskim Rav Hirschprubg z”l and Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg shlita among others. Rabbi Ulman is the Sydney Beth Din’s principle liaison with the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.
Rabbi Ulman serves as the founder and spiritual leader of F.R.E.E. (Friends of Refugees of Eastern Europe) Synagogue and Jewish Centre in Bondi Beach NSW. He is an active leader amongst Russian Jewry throughout Sydney.
